Bring someone close – a loved one or adored friend – for an unforgettable two-hour, intro-to-pottery makery session. The whole studio will be yours to enjoy time together creating durable mementos, both handbuilt and on the wheel. We’ll open a bottle and enjoy some nibbles – make this a real celebration! Leave your finished creations for us to finish, bisque and glaze fire (yes you can choose your colours!) – they’ll be ready for you to collect and take home in about five weeks.
This session will introduce you first to essential foundational skills of handbuilding, using an assortment of custom tools. Then we will build on that with an introduction to the wheel – you’ll get a good number of goes, and lots of help is available from your tutor.
Sessions available on most alternate Saturdays you can choose from 11am, 4.30pm & 7.00pm, all subject to availability.
