Next up: Pumpkins!

How is it Midsummer, long gone already? We had a lovely weekend of sun-medallion making here at the pottery, and a delightful diminutive fairy house workshop. Next up is Pumpkins! This is just a month away, the 4th-5th Sept. Be sure to grab your spot early, and here’s a coupon code for 10% off: Squash.

It’s been a joy to host several parties lately – we’re taking as much care as we ever did, continuing to limit numbers and sanitise tools and surfaces frequently, to ensure we keep our space safe. So if you’re looking for a new thing to try for a birthday, hen do, or anniversary, come fling mud at the pottery!

Our village pub, The Foxham has recently changed hands, and we’re delighted to find that it’s open from lunch through to dinner with a tempting menu. Pottery-making is hungry and thirsty work, so we’re lucky to have them nearby, and can recommend them before or after a session.

Best wishes for a happy summer – enjoy the glorious weather and look forward to seeing you soon!

Open from the 1st of May, Welcome Back, Friends!

We’ve planted flowers out front, freshly washed the kiln shelves and ordered in fresh clay – it’s official, we’re reopening!

Safety is still a big concern, and we’ll be taking our Covid precautions as seriously as before – we’re limiting numbers, restricting groups to households/bubbles, and sanitising like crazy between visitors. All the doors and windows are flung open for airflow (aahhhh that refreshing spring breeze), and we’re wearing our masks/shields.

That being said, check out the mini workshops we’ve pencilled in, starting the 1st of May – come make some adorable plant markers, or a plaque/number plate for your porch, and check out the luxe metallic-glazed Summer Solstice Sun project. And we ain’t whistlin’ Dixie, but you can, if you like, in one of the musical instrument sessions.

Ongoing students are welcome to return – and for those of you who still have gift vouchers waiting to be redeemed, contact us as soon as you’re ready to make your appointment – can’t wait to meet you!

Book yourself a spot, and we’ll see ya’ll soon.

Spring has Sprung – Clay Kits for Mums

Spring has most definitely sprung here at your local pottery – and the air is full of anticipation. We can’t wait to have you all here again, and as soon as it’s safe, we shall!

There’s still time to order Clay Kits for Mother’s Day – I also have a whole new crop of pretty handprinted cards for gift vouchers.

Have you all been watching the Pottery Throwdown? There are some fabulous challenges, and the participants are all so creative! If you haven’t caught the episodes so far, then do lay in some tasty snacks, a duvet to cuddle under on the sofa and stream them tonight – make sure you have a notebook to hand so you can jot down your ideas – I can’t wait for you to get here and start making cheese domes, wall tiles, and fountains of your own! (If you fancy getting started now, the Tile Triptych Kit would good pick!)

Hang in there, folks, stay safe, and we’ll be pottering together again in no time, now!

Valentines Date Nights – now in kit form!

It’s my FAVOURITE time of year at the pottery – chocolates and bubbles and muddy couples… but we’re bein’ safe stayin’ home, and ya’ll can’t come play. Soooo… we’ve put together a special VALENTINES CLAY KIT!! Get yourself some Best Ever Brownies from our very fine neighbours, a bottle of something fancy and roll up your sleeves to get muddy with your dearest BubbleFriend at home.

Here’s your chance to indulge in some tangible love during these times when most of our contact is virtual – the kit has instructions, tools (including spiffy HEART CUTTERS wohoo!), everything you need to get making a collection of Valentines.

If claying at home doesn’t appeal, you can also book a Valentine’s Date Night in the form of a gift certificate for a in-person date when things reopen – we’ll send you a pretty handcoloured card to present, for now. Buy one here.

Our other awesome kits make great gifts, are a good art-at-home activity and are ready to ship! Each one comes complete with tools, instructions, clay and a voucher for free firing in the pottery’s kiln – everything you need for a stay at home mudventure. Choose from:

Birdhouse
Pinch Pumpkin
Sgraffito Tiles
Simple Cup
Skulls
Animal Flowerpots
And others!

Do let me know if you’ve a larger brood at home, and I’ll make sure to put extra clay in so you can all get stuck in 😉

‘Till we can chillax at the pottery together again, stay safe and keep yourselves well.
