The first of a series of new workshops is the Porcelain Ghosts Workshop. Come for a spooky session where you can make your own translucent porcelain sheets draped in swoopy spooky shapes, with howling cutout faces!

We will be rolling and draping thin sheets of porcelain and adding little personal touches like patches and eye holes. you will have materials and time to make 1-3 little ghosts, which will be fired and glazed for you and returned within 4 weeks, complete with free LED tealight!

We’re celebrating Easter Saturday this year in the best way – by burning stuff! Bring your weirdest organic odds and ends to wrap around the bisqued objects we’ll supply, and create somethings special. It will be dusk by the time the fire pit is well underway, what better way to pray to the gods of clay. Take a break from the Christmas rush and relax with a glass of mulled wine and create a memorable set of ornaments, suitable for gifts or to adorn your own tree.

Make your own set of 5 textured, cutout ornaments using our entire library of texture rollers, stamps, letter stamps, matts and cutters, and feel free to bring your own found objects to try pressing into the clay, if you like.

There are still a few places left for our fun Pinch Pot Animals workshop on Thursday 31st July.

Suitable for all levels – let your imagination meow, woof, hop, crawl and growl into a pinch-pot creature of your choosing! You will be shown basic pinching and attaching techniques, then be set free to go wild creating your very own creation. Projects will be glazed one colour and returned in two weeks, or you have the option of booking into a subsequent drop-in session (additional charge) and painting to your liking with underglazes. (Note, pinch pot is the type of construction – they won’t end up as pots – unless you want!)

There are places still left for the Green Man Tile Workshop on Saturday 21st June. It’s a fun, two-hour makery session, suitable for all levels (absolute beginner to expert claythusiast). Bring your family or friends ones, and come design and build your own verdant mystical man of the woods. Leave your finished creations for us to fire and glaze in green – they’ll be ready for you to collect and take home in four weeks.
